50 Things You Can Do to Make Yourself Feel a Little Bit Happier

I don’t think I’m making a bold statement when I say that everyone wants more happiness in their life.
Sometimes we just feel stuck; our brain feels like mush; we have no energy; or it doesn’t feel like anything can help us get out of our rut.
To this thinking, I have bad news and good news.
I’ll start with the bad news first: These thoughts and emotions are very powerful things.
You may legitimately FEEL like you don’t have the energy to do anything or that, even if you do do something, it won’t make any difference anyway. To this, I say, hogwash!!
If you just take the time to do one of the items on this list (they take very little energy and effort) they will make a noticeable difference in your current level of happiness.
All of these little actionsare backed by research and science and are some of the lowest hanging fruit out there towards breaking out of a downward spiral.
Even if you’re not depressed but maybe you’re having an off day and feeling unproductive, this list is a super handy tool if you find yourself with a couple of minutes to kill and have the urge to do something that will make you feel like today wasn’t a total waste.

Well, “NUHH UHHH!”.
Once you figure out the things you can do that make you the happiest, DO THOSE THINGS MORE OFTEN!
Maybe the sounds of nature makes you want to rip your ears off but talking to your friend makes you feel all warm and gooey inside … axe nature and call your friend more!
If you experiment and try new things more often you’ll eventually find more things that make your heart sing and, the more often you do those things the happier you’ll feel.
